Not a medical device

What the scores mean
Your Glow Score, Potential, sub-scores and measurements describe facial proportions measured from one photo, compared with reference ranges. They are estimates, each with a measurement margin, and Potential is a modelled scenario rather than a prediction. Lighting, camera angle, lens and expression all change them. They are not a judgement of your attractiveness, health or worth, and many features that matter to people cannot be measured at all.
Skin readings
Skin readings come from the colour and texture of pixels in your photo. They can suggest something like visible redness or uneven tone, but they cannot tell what causes it, and they cannot detect or rule out any skin disease, including skin cancer. A low or high skin score says nothing about whether a spot or mole is harmless.
Your plan and the coach
Daily routines, product types and coach replies are general information for healthy adults and older teens. They may not suit you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take medication, or have allergies or sensitive skin. Patch-test new skincare products, follow product labels, and check with a professional before changing your diet, exercise or skincare significantly. The AI coach can be wrong; it is not a doctor.
Lab images
Lab images are AI illustrations. They do not predict what any routine, product, treatment or procedure would do for you. LookFlex does not recommend cosmetic procedures.
When to see a professional
See a doctor or dermatologist if you notice, for example:
- a mole or spot that is new, changing, bleeding, itching or looks different from your others;
- acne that is painful, scarring or not improving after a few months of a consistent routine;
- persistent redness, rashes, swelling or irritation;
- sudden changes in your skin, hair or weight;
- any reaction to a product, such as a rash, burning or swelling.
Your wellbeing
It is normal to care about how you look. If thoughts about your appearance take up a lot of your time, cause you distress or affect your daily life, that is worth talking about with a doctor or mental health professional. You can always take a break from scanning, and you can delete your data at any time.
Emergencies
If you think you may have a medical emergency, or you are thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department straight away. Do not rely on LookFlex or its coach.
